Japamini is the smallest of the Silenzio Japamala (Japamala Silence) Collection: a single ceramic bead, little bigger than a hazelnut, hanging from a long dusty pink cord. The yellow is bright, scattered with green speckles, like the shell of some exotic bird's egg. Below it, a soft matching tassel moves with every step.

Hollow at the centre, like every bead Simona Frigerio makes: it weighs only twenty grams and you cannot feel it on your neck. Wear it long, over a linen shirt or a jumper. If you want it shorter, tie a knot behind the neck and adjust the length in a moment.

A small good-mood talisman, to give to someone starting a yoga or meditation practice. Or to someone who simply needs a crumb of energy every day.
